CNC
Technology Insurance is a specialist provider of insurance
products to the engineering industry. Designed to protect
your investment in high value CNC Machine Tools, CNC Technology
Protection will help in keeping costs fixed in this competitive
environment, removing the possibility of potentially crippling
bills.
Full
repair costs (parts & labour) in the event of mechanical
& electrical breakdown, to the original manufacturer’s
specification, subject to a policy excess of £250.
Cover is provided against sudden & unforeseen damage,
including operator error.
In the event of a temporary repair being necessary, costs
of up to £10,000 will be paid, in addition to the
full repair.
All repairs will be carried out on a “new for old” basis
on machinery up to 5 years old. Claims on older machines
will be settled on an indemnity basis.
The
machine must be serviced & repaired in accordance with
the manufacturers recommended guidelines.
The
cost of the insurance is fixed for the duration of cover,
regardless of the incidence of claims.
A
daily compensation payment of £250 per day can be
made in the event of downtime exceeding 5 days.
